Color Vision Testing

Color Vision Deficiency ThumbnailColor blindness, also called color vision deficiency, is more common than you may think. Approximately 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women have some degree of color blindness, but many affected individuals aren’t aware they have the condition.

That’s why it’s important to have your color vision tested, especially if there’s any reason to suspect a problem. At Eyesymmetry Vision Center, we offer color vision testing to determine your ability to distinguish between various colors.

Color vision testing is performed in a normally lit room and doesn’t take much time to complete. We happily offer testing to both adults and children. Testing a child’s color vision abilities is important because color blindness can impact their performance at school and while playing sports, among other activities.

To schedule a color vision test, contact one of our eye doctors Dr. Moshe Schwartz and Dr. Jenny Chen or call Eyesymmetry Vision Center in Owings Mills today!
